Being children of God make us heirs of His kingdom, co-heirs with Jesus Christ. Our heritage in Christ come from our participation in His cross by faith, and His glory by God’s appointment.

The consequences of our actions are not always apparent all at once. Paul had it right when he said the world is broken and is awaiting healing--just as we are.

Nothing Can Separate Us
In the book, and subsequent movie, The Bridge to Terabithia, we see the bridge metaphor operating on different levels in the lives and imaginations of the two lead characters: Jess and Leslie. The bridge metaphor is also an apt one for our understanding of God’s work in Christ which brings to us to understand the nothing can separate us from the His love that is in Christ.
